Precious Pencil Portraits * All portraits are drawn from photographic reference. In order to create the highest quality portrait a detailed, physical or digital black & white or color photograph must be submitted. Large enough for detail to be seen in the eyes. * Each portrait is the artist's rendering of the given photographs and additions or removals can be done as desired to an extent such as: removal of facial blemishes, removal of age lines and additional objects or clothing. * Each portrait is drawn with graphite pencils on bristleboard paper. When finished the portrait is sprayed with a fixative spray to help prevent smudging. Tissue paper is then placed over the drawing to further protect the surface from excessive handling and the elements as much as possible. * The total price of each portrait consists of the size of the portrait, the amount of subjects included, any additions including, but not limited to background, full body or torso and any additional props or objects and shipping and handling. A final price including all additions will be negotiated between the artist and customer before the drawing is started. * Please notify me of any time restraints or deadlines that you might have. I can usually have a portrait done in a matter of days or weeks and sent to you, but I will try to accomodate any timeframe. |
Prices Below are general prices for each portrait size. The prices shown are for the face and shoulders of a subject. Prices are subject to change with any additions such as full body or torso, background and other props or objects. For additional information, see the portrait guidelines below. |

Shipping and handling All shipping and handling costs of any items from Precious Pencil Portraits will be included in the price of the portrait or illustration. |
Payment A down payment of half the total price is required before the drawing of the portrait commences. The remainder of the price can be made upon completion of your portrait and will then be shipped to you. Payments can be made online through the website with a credit card or check through paypal. Please do not send cash through the mail. |
Privacy Policy Any contact information including email address, telephone number, address, etc. provided by the customer is used solely for the purpose of completing the order and possible promotional offers in the future. This includes information pertaining to gift recipients. I reserve the right to display any portrait for advertising and/or display purposes on www.preciouspencilportraits.com or elsewhere. |
